Circular Knives

Our high-precision circular scoring knives are manufactured in Akron, Ohio, with any edge type a customer may require. Flat, sharp or radius, we can accommodate your specifications. Edge angles can also be custom manufactured to your needs. All of our edge angle/radius combinations are produced on modern CNC equipment to ensure repeatability. Our reputation rests on producing knives of the highest quality.

Knives are also treated with Black Oxide to enhance their appearance and prevent corrosion. They are heat treated to a hardness specified by our customer, up to 63 R/C. All of the blades that Portage Knife manufactures also undergo a cryogenic process during heat treat.

We stock hundreds of varieties with varying edges and angles for all of the common converting equipment, such as Dusenbery and Cameron, just to name a few. Most of our knives are produced using American made 52100 steel, but can also be machined in D2, M2, A2, S7 or other materials, upon request. We can custom make any style knife a customer may need.
